Step 3: How to get a hosting account

When getting a hosting account, most people will ask themselves: “Which hosting company should I host my blog?” or “which hosting company is good?”

Below are the steps to signup for a hosting account with Hostgator:

Step 2: If you already have a registered a domain name (any registrar), click “I will use My Existing Domain and Update My Nameservers only”. Type in your registered domain name that you want to use.
